Modern Traditional
Exploring Quilt Styles

Kate Colleran

For our special December meeting, Kate Colleran from Centennial, Colorado, will share her trunk show ‘Modern Traditional -Exploring Quilt Styles’.  She will discuss different quilt styles and will use slides of lots of quilts, from her patterns, book and ones she has had in magazines, to show different quilt styles. She will talk about the elements that make a quilt feel traditional and what elements one might see in a more modern quilt. She will discuss a mix of styles, color choices and inspiration for quilt ideas.
