Welcome to our next meeting on

houses

September 15 , 2010

It is hard to believe that we have come to the end of another Guild year.  All year we have been celebrating our 25th Anniversary and this celebration can go on and on, as it is a real feat for an organization to be so active for this length of time!

The arrival of summer gives each of us permission to feel like a child again. At the June meeting we were challenged to take time for ourselves. It was suggested that during the day we grab a blanket, quilt or lounge chair and lay down under that big beautiful blue cloudy sky. Relax and see how many animals we can be find in the clouds. Or, maybe it’s a plane or sailboat that will take us to faraway places. For those who work during the day, the evening is for you. Grab that blanket or quilt, relax under the starry sky. How many shooting stars can you see? Where’s the big dipper or little dipper? Just lay there and wonder about the mysteries of the universe. It’s wonderful to feel like a kid again. Oh dear, I forgot to mention the glass of wine or beverage of your choice. After all, there are benefits to being a grown up.

There are clouds waiting for me so I have to go. Have a wonderful summer, work on quilting projects and we’ll see each other at our first meeting September 15. New members are always welcomed.

See you at guild!
